I had booked shifting within city...on the day of shifting they didn't pick the ph.. no vechile was reached.

One of the worst experiences I ever had in my life with this packers and movers. Recently I had to move to Surat due to my new job hence handed over my 2 wheeler to these guys. I handed my bike to them on 28/2/2025 and moved to Surat the very next day. I'll state my experiences here so that atleast it would be beneficial to someone who's planning to use their services: 1. The quotation sent to me indicated that the packing charges are included in the quoted price, but later they charged an extra 1500 saying they did royal packing(I didn't ask for it). All this they haven't mentioned earlier while picking up the bike. 2. Which insurance company charges around 60% of the freight value as insurance charges?(i.e., 3% on the bike's value). You know what, these guys are only the insurers as well and this is just another way of scamming people. Also, the insurance shown in the quotation said it's optional, but these people charged me that without my knowledge. (My bike insurance for the entire year itself is around 3000 and these guys charged 3000 in one delivery) 3. Their executive told me that I had to make the payment after the delivery of the vehicle. Now, immediately after packing is done, they started threatening me of late delivery if payment is not made immediately i.e., even before the vehicle transit started. 4. Anyway I've not asked them for the vehicle delivery to make payment, I just asked. for a tracking link which was promised to me to be given immediately after pickup. They failed to fulfill that as well. 5. They promised a door-to-door delivery but failed to do so, I had to travel 30 kms to a far away godown to pick my vehicle. They've outsourced the vehicle delivery to a third party transporter from Kolkata to Surat. 6. I received my vehicle in a very bad condition, brakes were not working properly. They've used it for their personal purposes before delivery as I can see that the meter reading showed an additional 100 kms travel after they picked it up from my home in Kolkata. 7. I have given a key along with key-chain (an invaluable gift from my wife which she had gifted me in our Darjeeling trip) was robbed by them. I just found a key in the vehicle without the key chain. Shame on you guys. Without knowing that you can't keep any of these promises why did you people even touch my vehicle? Just wait for something nice from my side too. Gathering all the evidence to submit to the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum.
