FX RE Care Home Appliances repair service in Hyderabad.

I booked Microwave repair through Home Triangle. The work was assigned to a 3rd Party FX Engineering, in Hyderabad. They detached the defective display panel from my microwave and took it on July 1, 2025. The technician, while taking the panel mentioned that the work will either be done on the same day and the panel returned to me, or max the first half of the day on July 2. The approximate cost estimate was provided to be 2.4K, +- 200 bucks. I paid 150 bucks as visitation charges. There was no update provided on July 1. I checked back with them on July 2 and in the morning, the POC for FX told me that he would provide an update to me by 3 pm and I should be getting the part back by evening. No updates were provided in the afternoon. I tried calling the FX POC multiple times, no answer. Then I was forced to call the technician who picked up the part and he said, it is taking longer than expected and will be able to provide an update by 7 pm. Still no update at 7 and I called him back and he said it would be kept for "SUPERVISION" overnight and I will get it back on July 3 in the first half of the day. I asked him the total cost and he said its a little extra but he doesnt know the total amount, it will be communicated by "SIR". On July 3, I called the helpline number of Home Triangle at around 10:30, I was on hold and post that the IVR stated that there is too much of waiting so I will get a call back, which, obviously, I didnt get. I called the technician at around 11:30 am and he said he will start for my place in another 40 mins. Again I get a call from the technician at around 2 pm and he says that I need to send 1K as advance as the amount is a little extra and the actual technician who repaired, needs to be paid some money. I paid thru UPI and I called back the number of Home Triangle. Spoke to someone this time and told them the entire thing. The guy stated that he is passing on the message to the Escalation Team and they will get back to me by 4 pm (never happened). At around 3 pm I called the technician again and he said he will reach shortly. He finally came over at around 4 pm and fixed the panel and for now it is working fine. He then shows me a bill of 4.6K, which is almost double the estimated amount. As a repair service, the expectation is that, after the diagnosis, the customer would be informed that the repair cost is XYZ and if he/she is comfortable, they would carry out the repair. No such message was given to me. When I spoke to the owner, Mr. Marlin, he could just say Sorry and kept on pestering me to pay, I paid 4.3K to repair a 8 years old microwave, the amount which I wont be getting if I sold off the microwave now. The reason for writing this review is to warn future customers to avoid FX Engineering (recare) for any repair services. Avoid these 3rd grade providers. Also, would urge you to look at my Google Profile and you would understand that the review is genuine and not fake, as some of their reviews look like. _____________________________________________________________ I would like to provide an update here - Last night I received a call from the MD of FX. I narrated all the happenings and she apologized repeatedly for the issues I have faced. She also refunded 1700 bucks for the additional money I paid over and above the quoted amount and an additional 800 bucks as a token of apology. While the gesture is great and its refreshing to see the owners taking customers' reviews seriously, I would hope that they also improve their service process and communication in future. While my review and rating still remaining the same for this instance, I would definitely give them a shot if I need some relevant services next time, as discussed with the MD. She has also provided me her direct contact number to reach out to her directly if I need anything in future.

Useless and Fraud Service. Don't try them. These people come through just dial, home triangle or such similar services. They don't give bills. They charge exorbitant quotations. Don't get cheated. Avoid.

They are very professional and infact got my very old microwave working even though parts are not available. They did the impossible and I am very pleased with the outcome. I will now entrust any of my appliances which need repairs to them knowing that the job will get done.
