I had a very disappointing experience with Agrawal Packers and Movers. From the start, they kept calling me 10–20 times a day after I enquired online. They initially quoted ₹15,000, which I said was beyond my budget. They offered a free home visit and said they would review the price after checking my items. After visiting and taking a video of my house, they again sent the same quotation of ₹15,000. I clearly told them my maximum budget was ₹10,000. They revised it to ₹10,900, and again I said no. Finally, they agreed to ₹10,000, and asked for a ₹1,000 advance to confirm the booking. However, on the day of the move—after everything was packed—the team suddenly gave me an invoice of ₹16,000, claiming that GST and other charges were not included earlier. This was never communicated to me at any stage. If they knew taxes were extra, they should have informed me during the negotiation. Instead, they waited until my items were already packed and I had no choice. And also, no tax leads to a 50% increase in price. They told me they won't deliver my things to the new address unless I pay this inflated price. And started creating a ruckus. It was a clear case of fraud. It felt misleading, unprofessional, and unethical. I do not recommend Agrawal Packers and Movers to anyone looking for transparent pricing or honest communication. THERE IS A PERSON NAMED KULDEEP who handles the quotations. He will agree to whatever amount fits your budget, but after your shifting is done, he adds extra charges and increases the total. This feels like a trap so that you have no choice once your items are packed. Please be careful — this behaviour is very dicy.
