Based on my personal experience, I am writing this review after 3 months. On 26-03-2024, we purchased a PHILIPS Radio for my mother at BENAKA Shop in Sirsi. Within 10 days, the radio stopped working. When I went to the shop to report the issue, they were not ready to accept the complaint and started arguing, blaming us for the problem. They claimed that the radio shell was damaged, which was the reason it stopped working. I questioned how it was possible for the radio shell to be damaged within just 10 days, especially since this is our third radio, having used other brands before. Compared to other radios, PHILIPS Radio seems inferior nowadays. The shop owner was initially not ready to accept the return or take the complaint. After much request and argument, they finally agreed to take the radio and said they would service it. They told me to come back after 5 days, as the radio would be ready, but when I went after 10 days, it was still not ready. I went again after 4 days, and it was still not ready. Finally, I went back after 5 more days, and they returned the radio without servicing it. My question is, why are shopkeepers so good when selling an item, but when it comes to servicing under warranty, they don't treat customers the same way? BENAKA Shop is not providing good service nowadays, unlike before when they had a small shop. They have also started selling poor-quality products. I found out that they did not send the radio for service because the shop employee called the service center in front of me and confirmed it. He said they did not give the radio for service.

Friendly reminder: Don't expect any customer service from them. We may not be rich as the owner but have not accepted any charity from them. We paid huge sum for the product and have all rights to ask for customer service. While purchasing they won't tell when are they going to give customer service if product is not working. It may take indefinite time(more than month). Be cautious in buying any product from them. I'm regretting already.
