I wanted to share my unfortunate experience with the Crompton water heater I recently purchased for my new home in Victory Electricals Thakkaraparamb. When I bought the heater, I was excited about its potential to provide comfort and convenience. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when the heater turned out to be in a terrible condition. Shortly after installation, I noticed that the heater wasn't functioning properly. In fact, it was so badly damaged that it collapsed within the wall it was mounted on, leading to a massive water leakage. The situation was dire, and I knew I had to take action immediately. I contacted the builder to investigate the issue, and what we uncovered was shocking. It became evident that the root cause of this catastrophe was the Crompton water heater itself. I was hoping that the company would take responsibility and assist in rectifying the situation. Unfortunately, this was not the case. My attempts to get in touch with them were met with silence and disregard. It was incredibly frustrating to be left hanging, especially considering the urgency of the matter. After a seemingly endless 10-day wait, representatives from Crompton finally showed up. However, their response was far from satisfactory. They denied any responsibility for the damage caused by their product and had the audacity to put the blame on external factors. To make matters worse, they presented me with an exorbitant repair estimate of 25,000 rupees to fix the various areas affected by the water leakage. This entire experience has left me deeply disappointed and disillusioned with Crompton as a brand. Not only did their product fail spectacularly, but their customer care during the warranty period was shockingly inadequate. This incident stands as a stark example of their lack of accountability and concern for their customers. I urge everyone to steer clear of Crompton products, particularly their water heaters. This has been a truly disheartening experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. It's disconcerting to think that a brand that was once considered reliable could let its customers down so egregiously. In conclusion, I strongly advise against purchasing any products from Crompton. This experience has left me with a deep distrust of the brand, and I plan to share my story with as many people as possible to ensure they are aware of the potential pitfalls. It's disappointing to see a brand that once seemed promising fall so short of expectations. Let my experience serve as a cautionary tale – avoid Crompton & Victory Electricals at all costs.
