Mar-2025 ** Costly Banarsi Saari damaged after 1st Dry-Wash ** TL;DR - Don’t give costly clothes to this outlet for dry-wash; they can only handle normal clothes. I recently gave 15 clothes for dry-cleaning to this outlet as someone close recommended the Tumbledry brand. Most of the clothes were worn in a marriage function and were very costly ones. It was my first order with Tumbledry. Right away the outlet denied honouring the 1st time discount and tried selling me a package for 5000₹. When I received the clothes after dry-wash, 3 of the clothes were not ironed properly and were crushed. I sent them again for ironing. 1 costly saari of my mother which she wore for the 1st time was damaged (thread pulls) and the colour of the saari appeared faded by at least 2 shades and the zari work was looking lustre less. No polish was done after dry-wash. The outlet, as expected, started claiming that the saari was like that only. Also: No support received yet from Tumbledry customer care team for the damage. Attaching the photos of saari (pre & post dry-wash) so that you can make an informed decision!
