There has been no acknowledgement by the company or any apology or compassion for the trauma caused by them. The complaint below was reluctantly resolved by the company after a lot of correspondence and complaints management. They paid only half the amount I had to spend on restoring the damage and did not even apologise for having put me through the problem of closing office for ten days while the painting job was being done. On 10 July, 2023, technicians were dispatched from Pest Control M Walshe, in Mumbai to my office property to perform pest control services. During the course of the service, I did raise the question of why the technician was using oil-based pesticide on my furniture when in the past it was always a water based pesticide that was used. I also raised apprehension that the oil may stain the furniture and wallpaper. He brushed aside my questions and said that there will be no stains from this treatment. The next morning, it became evident that several items within my property were damaged as a direct result technicians' actions. Upon discovering the damages the next morning, I immediately contacted the company's customer service department and filed an oral complaint. The representative I spoke to acknowledged the incident and several persons have visited and acknowledged that the damage is indeed caused by the pest control service. However I am repeatedly asking for a reply, but there is no reply forthcoming. They don't even bother to apologise. I have been put through enormous stress and trauma due to this mishap and there is pesticide residue all over my office which might be toxic in addition to the disfigurement. Additionally my office will require to remain closed for 10 days to do the repair work and that will result in significant loss of business to me.
