I have used services for transport of Car and luggage by smart Logistics from Kolkata to Portblair. The Car was received in good condition and was washed before delivery. They have a small shop and almost unheard of in the islands but I can say it with 100% certainty - 360 IS THE BEST TRANSPORTERS AVAILABLE AT THE ISLANDS as on date. I am taking personal efforts in writing this review with utmost genuineness and honesty, as appreciation for the services provided by this firm. As we know, transfer of luggage to/from Andaman is a lot more fussier and messier than usual, as it involves sea-land transits. Hence I personally took a survey of almost all transporters in Port Blair viz Andaman, Migrate24, Biz, Arpan, Port Blair, Paras, Chaudhary, Defence. I was impressed with their claims but a lot of them seemed fishy or over the top. Also post payment service is what decided the professionalism, as anyone can lure us into paying. I decided to go with recommendations by fellow Officers who have used 360 before. Here are few observations :- 1) They didn't quote exorbitant high prices but reasonable ones. 2) Almost all their previous users I contacted, gave brilliant feedback. 3) They were timely in packing and personally ensured the process by being present there for a whole day. Other transporters don't show this much of intervention, I can bet that. 4) They paid attention to each and every delicate item and packed it with near to perfect shock-proofing materials viz foam, bubble wrap, polythene wraps and cardboards. 5) They personally take accounting of any damage, if happened. 6) The luggage reached in almost the same time they claimed, with acceptable extension due to unforeseen reasons. 7) Although they do hire laborers and 3rd party workers, they make sure you don't have to pay anything extra than what they quoted not even the nagging 'chai pani' charges people usually ask. 8) They have taken legitimate account of all the luggage themselves with elaborate listing, marking and up-down orientation signs on the boxes. Hence no confusion post packing. 9) I received the luggage in almost same state as when it was transported. 10) They are fairly responsive after the luggage dispatch and are cooperative to anxious customers who are keen to klnow the status of the items. Minor point of criticism:- Some physical damage to my car speakers and refrigerator to a low extent only. I am pretty satisfied with their services and am glad I took the instinctive call of choosing them and not going by the glitzy marketing done by other popular transporters. My advice will be choose a transporter that values you, not the one who isn't concerned about losing a customer.
