I had my household items transported from jaipur to jodhpur on 24th august. I was fooled by the positive google reviews. This contractor mangal chand visited a day before to assess how much are the items and how large a truck would have to be. I used to be in favor of the small businesses, supporting a new business but man I was so wrong about this packer. First of all this is a sub contractor who doesn't have the entire supply chain of packing and moving. It is a rag tag of operations I specifically told him that a small size truck would be needed, certainly bigger than a 407. This guy shows up in a mahindra pickup with slightly oversized body in the evening at 6pm. He kept me in dark all this while that he is not arranging a truck. When I insisted on a container truck, he assured that he will cover the pickup with three layers of tarp and not a dropof water will come inside. He crammed all my luggage into that pick up, and covered with a tarp that had micro holes. The loading happened at 7pm and I had no other option left, either leave my luggage in the building lobby in open for the night or continue with that pick up. At last when the pick up was unloaded at destination, multiple items were partly soaked in water(images attached). On confronting about his assurances, he immediately did a 180 degree turn and blamed me for making a " minor" issue like water leakage on some items. His poor packaging also lead to breaking of an important photo frame glass. Before I had to force his staff to coverup several items into plastic wrap, which seemed an extra burden to them. Although some of the loading staff were very nice and careful in packing delicate items, despite having less packing material, who by the way were paid peanuts,(later compensated separately by me). One good thing was that he did arrange additional manpower when needed due to lift failure but at a huge additional amount. Tldr, none of the items were packed as shown in the google images. The contractor is a liar, largely incompetent and don't take his poor quality service. You will end up with damaged articles like me. Instead pay a little premium and visit established packers like agarwal's or local packer and mover offices and discuss in detail the entire process with them, so that your luggage and items are not damaged.
