I enquired to book Sri Kathayee Amman Packers and Movers, Kumbakonam, to transport household goods from Thiruvarur to Chennai a few days back. The person who attended the call (Ms Hema) was very courteous and assisted through the process. She asked me to send the photos of items to be packed to prepare the tentative quote and vehicle size. I booked the service going by the good reviews. Her boss, Mr Saravanan, pitched in during the negotiations of the quote (Rs.20000). I asked for a discount. He was insisting on Rs.20000 and said their staff need not be paid any tips. I agreed. They were supposed to come at 9 am on the designated day to pack and load the goods, but arrived around 10.30 am. But they quickly compensated for the delay and impressed me with their work. Four young men did a professional job and were very cooperative and patient in addressing our concerns and suggestions. The driver, Mr Manikandan, became the hero of the shifting event in my impressions. He conducted himself in a very polite, caring and professional manner throughout. He is a real gem. Mr Manikandan informed me when he was nearing the destination and also coordinating with the team of boys at the destination, guiding them to the spot. The two boys who helped to unload and bring the goods to the flat were also very good. It was almost 11.00 pm when Mr Manikandan messaged me with videos and pictures of the work completed. It was a very satisfying moment. Mr Hema called to enquire about the process when the boys were working in Thiruvarur and Mr Saravanan asked whether the goods reached the destination to my satisfaction. I will be a repeat customer for Sri Kathayee Amman Packers and Movers.

A wonderful service in Kumbakonam. All the things were packed properly and safely moved to Bangalor recently. The staffs are friendly approached and do the works as per the instructions given by the owner carried well. I thanked Kathayee Amman service.

Overall a good service. I personally felt price is little higher but in other way the service is very good.i shifted to from my hometown to Chennai. In my hometown 4 people came for packing and loading. leading person name Imran, he is very good and neat he looked at all nook and corner and guided is coworkers properly. If he came means we can just inform them and be relaxed. In Chennai also unloading people came on time as I already informed them and they did correctly and neatly. Overall it's a good and recommendable service.
