I shipped my household goods from Lucknow to Pune through Starway Packers and Movers, and my experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Despite opting for a door-to-door pickup and drop service along with insurance, my goods were delivered by a single delivery agent, similar to an Amazon courier. There was no labor or support provided to unload the goods or move them to my apartment. I had to arrange and pay for local labor myself and personally get involved in shifting the items from the truck to my apartment, which completely defeats the purpose of hiring professional packers and movers. Additionally, some of my goods were damaged during transit. I was assured that the insurance claim and labor charges would be refunded, but it has been 3-4 months, and there has been no resolution or refund so far. The most frustrating part is the behavior of their representative Shivejeet. He does not answer calls from my number, but if I call from a different number, he answers and gives false assurances. It’s nothing but empty promises and buttery talks, with no actual action taken. This kind of behavior is highly unethical and unprofessional. Overall, this company lacks accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service. I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Starway Packers and Movers, especially if you expect proper delivery support and post-service responsibility.
