I travelled from US and landed in Varanasi Airport on 01 Dec 2025. I had picked up the Varanasi Cab from Google search. I am delighted to say that I had an excellent experience with the cab company. They have quoted one all inclusive rate (taxes, toll, parking, driver bhatta etc). No confusion. I have utilized their cab from 01/12 to 05/12. We had visited many temples in Varanasi, Saranath, Vindhyavasini Matha, Prayag Raj Sangam and local temples including Lalitha Parameswari (One of the 18Shakthi Peethas). Then we travelled to Ayodhya. On the way Hemant recommended to visit Nandigram. But for him we might have not visited that sacred place. He took us there on his own. I had the pleasure of getting an excellent person as driver. He is Hemant. Very polite, helpful, patient, cool and with safe driving. He has excellent knowledge of the entire places. He made our pilgrimage very pleasant. I strongly recommend the cab company and my special appreciations for the driver Mr.Hemant.

No doubt Varanasi Cab Service is the most genuine cab service provider in Varanasi. My driver was Kalyan bhai and he was very helpful which made our journey better, and the owner Pranay jii is also very kind and helpful anytime . I would highly recommend Varanasi Cab service

Worst Cab Service – Avoid Varanasi Cab & Driver Raju (Taj Muhammed) We had an extremely disappointing experience with Varanasi Cab and driver Raju aka Taj Muhammed during our trip to Varanasi and Ayodhya. Despite paying ₹16,000 for a Toyota, the service was unprofessional, unreliable, and completely unhelpful—especially since we were traveling with a senior citizen and an infant. Key Issues We Faced: Uncooperative and Arrogant Attitude: The driver refused to take the car inside smaller roads, forcing us to walk long distances unnecessarily. Darshan Drop-Off Issues: Every other cab was dropping passengers at Gate No. 4 for early morning darshan, but he refused, leaving us stranded. Missed Pickup & Excuses: We requested a pickup after darshan at 7 AM, but he did not show up. When we called at 7:15 AM, he claimed his tire had burst—yet did not inform us in advance. Refused to Use Car Even Where Permitted: Despite cars being allowed in certain areas, he deliberately avoided traffic and forced us to take autos or walk on dusty, under-construction roads in 38°C heat. Unhelpful in Every Way: He made zero effort to assist us throughout the trip. Stopped at the Dirtiest Place for a Break: When we asked for a tea stop en route to Ayodhya, he chose a filthy roadside eatery with an unhygienic toilet—unfit even for stray animals. Harassed Our Airbnb Host: Upon reaching Ayodhya, he refused to follow Google Maps and instead troubled our host, forcing her to involve the police to get us dropped at the correct location. He even called our female host 3-4 times late at night, harassing her. Owner’s Bad Attitude: When we raised concerns, the cab company owner was equally rude, ignorant, and unhelpful. Final Verdict: We DO NOT recommend this cab service to anyone, especially if you’re traveling with family. Varanasi Cab and driver Raju (Taj Muhammed) are highly unprofessional, irresponsible, and lack basic courtesy. Save yourself the hassle and book with a more reputable provider. Hopefully, Kashi Vishwanath blesses them for what they’ve donee

We were booking cabs for our village in Palhana, Lalganj from PranayJi since last 3 years. Drivers like Virendra, Kailash and Santosh were really good. Till now their services are upto the mark, they were providing cabs on urgent basis too. My wife Anamika Singh most of the times cordinate with Pranayji directly. But recently they have changed their manager/receptionist and that guy is very rude, I said to him that we are your old customers but he didn't give a damm about it and was very rude and provided very high rates. If you are reading this Pranayji, you have lost a old customer for sure. Thankyou Uday Singh

I recently had an experience with Varanasi Cab that I feel compelled to share. We’ve used various taxi services in India over the past few years and unfortunately, this company was part of the 50% that didn’t quite live up to their promises. Our booking was handled by Mr. Naveen Pandey, who was quite persuasive and eloquent during our initial conversations. However, the service we received did not match the expectations set by him. The driver, Mr. Upadhyay, was neither helpful nor communicative. His demeanor was quite rude, which was discomforting for us as passengers. Notably, he was unwilling to accommodate the needs of our elderly members. He consistently refused to drop them close to their stops, focusing on his convenience rather than ours. It took considerable persuasion to get him to agree to drop off and pick up at points convenient for the elderly members of our party. Furthermore, the condition of the cab was disappointing. We were provided an old, beat-up Innova. Compounding our troubles, the heater was non-functional during the cold weather. Despite these issues, there was no attempt made to arrange another cab or offer any concession on the fare. This experience has been disheartening, and it has significantly impacted my view of their service. I would urge potential customers to be cautious when considering Varanasi Cab for their travel needs. Update: A common tactic used by many businesses today to discredit negative reviews is to claim that the customer never used their services or that the mentioned employees don't exist. This response from the cab company is a typical example of such behavior. However, their claim is clearly false in this case, as we booked directly using the phone number listed on both their website. Their response appears to be a deceptive attempt to avoid addressing the issues raised in the review.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
