The state transport department is also introducing Intelligent Transport Management System(ITMS) with a cost of Rs 38.28 crore of which 50 per cent is a grant from the Centre and remaining 50 per cent would be from private participation. With the implementation of ITMS, the entire transport department in the state would go online.

Though Khatauli has a Bus depot but most of the buses of UPSRTC don't enter this premise and just go pass by it. The main stand is Chaupla from where buses undertaken by UPSRTC operates between Muzaffarnagar to Merrut and also few of them goes till Anand Vihar. Since there is a byepass of Khatauli, all the long distances buses (Delhi to Haridwar/Dehradun/Rishikesh) uses byepass road. Primarily, because of this its difficult to find buses in Khatauli in the night after 8PM

Khatauli is a city and nagar palika in Muzaffarnagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. A part of National Capital Region, the town is situated 100 km away from the national capital New Delhi. It is located on NH 58 between Muzaffarnagar (24 km) and Meerut (36 km).

A fully wide bus stand near NH 58. You can get a bus towards Delhi, Dehradoon, Haridwar in every 15 minutes.

Buses movement is very unstructured and may not be safe in odd hours. No closed space to sit in adverse weathers. Staff not very cooperative.

Why khatauli depo buses are not stopping at mohan nagar, ghaizabad after 8 PM ?? Is there any management available or not ?
