We travel extensively in India, and hire cab services all the time, and Meghayatra ranks at the very top of our list of companies that we have used. Sush was incredibly responsive, flexible and helpful when we booked our 12-day Meghalaya and Assam itinerary with her almost 9 months in advance. Meghayatra was the ONLY company willing to work with our itinerary versus us having to adhere to theirs. Everything worked like clockwork. Sush contacted us several days prior to our arrival and provided us with the driver and car details We were met at the Guwahati airport by our driver, Vishal Gurung, exactly on schedule. Vishal is a young, high-energy Shillong native who speaks incredibly good English and has many years of driving experience in India, but particularly Meghalaya, Assam and Arunachal. He was an outstanding driver who was very proactive in suggesting valuable changes to our itinerary based on local considerations (for example, we totally bypassed Dawki as a destination because of the silt that was flowing from upstream highway construction, and replaced it with a trip over the gorgeous Wahrew Steel Arch Bridge and River). He had a great sense of humor so we also laughed a lot together on our trip together. But most importantly, because of his outstanding driving skills, we always felt safe in his hands. When we return to visit Arunachal, we will work with Meghayatra again and ask specifically for Vishal. You will not be disappointed with this company.

We had 6 days trip in Meghalaya, pick and drop from Guwahati airport with Megha yathra transport company. we had a fantastic trip, the contribution will include the vehicle and the driver. Coming to the point we had the innova crista with a driver Mr.Ajay chakraborty. We were met our driver( bhaiya) Shivji Rai at Guwahati airport exactly on schedule. Shivji is very punctual, young, high-energy Shillong local who speaks incredibly good Hindi and English too.has many years of driving experience in Meghalaya, Assam and Guwahati and arunachal pradesh. His service was truly extraordinary, punctual, polite, and genuinely caring.he can easily adjustable as per our schedule and itenery. We would highly recommend Meghyatra and specially Shivji rai as he will make your journey very comfortable and you will be in good hands.

After looking at multiple options available we went ahead with meghayatra for our trip of 7D. I had a fantastic experience with Shivji on our family trip to Shillong. He is a Gem of a person. He was punctual, professional, and clearly knew the roads well, which made the winding drive feel safe and relaxed. He was friendly without being distracting, happy to answer questions, and even shared a few local insights along the way. The car was clean and comfortable, and the whole ride felt smooth and well-paced. I’d gladly ride with him again and highly recommend him for longer or mountain routes.
