My kashmir trip was unplanned and all packages from travel companies was too expensive. So I booked all flight tickets and hotels by myself for 8 day trip. The pending thing was booking cab for entire trip. I booked tata etios from "Kashmir car rentals" for 2k per day. Extraordinary service by cab driver Waseem bhaijan. He guided us during entire trip and helped to understand what to do and not do(bargain, shopping etc.). He was very punctual and helped us explore the Kashmir at our own pace. We covered Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Srinagar, Doodhpathri, Pahlgam(8 days, few places need to book local Union taxi-Gulmarg, Pahalgam for local sightseeing).
