Absolutely Horrible Experience – Beware of Scam! I had one of the worst experiences with Shekhawat Packers & Movers. Initially, I requested a quotation after explaining my estimated number of boxes, and the owner quoted ₹13,000, but refused to come in person to assess the actual load beforehand. On the day of the move, my boxes were more than expected — which can happen — but instead of giving a reasonable revised estimate, the worker suddenly claimed ₹1500 per extra box! I told him clearly that I couldn't afford that, even showed him my bank balance, but he continued packing without agreeing on a final amount, giving me the impression that we could negotiate later. Then the real nightmare began. I was suddenly sent an inflated invoice of ₹38,350, way more than the original estimate. When I asked to cancel, they told me the transport had already left. After multiple rounds of negotiation, they reduced it to ₹28,000 — still outrageous. I offered to pay half now and half later, but they outright refused and started threatening me with an FIR and a daily penalty of ₹1500 for any delay. They left me with no choice but to pay under pressure, which felt like being scammed and blackmailed. This was an extremely stressful, dishonest, and unprofessional experience. They misled me, took advantage of the situation, and made sure I had no way out. most of my items were delivered damaged or broken, showing zero care in handling. I strongly warn everyone — do NOT trust Shekhawat Packers & Movers. They operate with zero transparency and use threats to extort money. Save yourself the mental and financial trauma — go with a reputed, ethical service provider instead.
